This is a great site to unfollow people who don’t tweet often enough. If they are stale then you can unfollow them. Works great!!
I can’t believe TwitApps is not even on this list, yet it is one of the most effective tools [if not the only one] that notifies you when someone stops following you.

Has anyone created an app to allow you to mass mention your followers? Like a follow friday app? Just thought that would be very nice and speed up the process of mentioning 5 or 6 followers at a time.

This is a great list of tools I and my team write about Twitter tools all the time on our blog: http://www.tweasier.com/blog, we try to provide added value to people by using the tools are then saying what is good and bad about them.
In recent times Twitter has really clamped down on bulk unfollow tools due to spammers using them excessively but I think this is the wrong approach and maybe they should have just suspended account that were going up and down too much.
That has given me a blog post idea – I might quote this article as the source of my idea.

Great thanks for this list, I've been searching for some better tools to manage my twitter accounts for ages. Following this list I came across a site called 'Tweetbig' which seems to have incorporated many of these tools into one. Just testing it out now.
My personal Fav is Tweepi. It can easily follow or unfollow 40 people at once.and the interface is also user friendly
