We’ve seen a lot of showcases of web design in specific countries or specific industries but something that hasn’t been done yet is a showcase of the best and worst website designs in Hollywood. I was of course expecting some of the best designs in the industry, with their resources who could expect anything else. I, as you will be, was quite surprised.
While there were a few great designs, there were more bad one’s. And while we can’t showcase all of them, this will give you a basic idea of what our favorite stars have come up with (with their trust designers on their side).
The basic characteristics you see in the very well designed websites is:
- Healthy use of white space: A few of the websites are very simple and to the point, alluding to nothing more then what needs to be discussed.
- Interactive: Most of the websites are VERY interactive, allowing you to spend a reasonable amount of time on the website without getting bored. A lot of the actors and actresses have communities and forums that you can take part in.
- Creative designs: Intense color. Miley Cyrus’s website is a bright red, with a lot of intricate designs throughout the header.
- Head shots: Most of the actors and actresses websites have a head shot or a photo of them displayed in a fantastic way, there is a difference though, look at Miley’s and then take a look at the Sylvester Stallone’s website. The use of class is very important.
Here is our list of best and worst designs!
