Why do those drawings have to be so violent and cruel and monster-like? Are those the only inspiring “things” for people?

It’s pretty odd, Dan, that you believe that the art of one person represents people in general. Almost as odd as how violent and cruel you think these are. One of the pictures shows a large ogre-like creature doing no more than keeping a young woman dry in the rain. Nothing remotely monstrous about that. And many of these are just people/creatures standing in spectacular poses, some of which are the definition of peace. That you would find cruelty in these saddens me, especially since the paintings that do involve evil also contain evil’s antagonist.

Why can Dan only see violence and cruelty? Are those the only “things” he can perceive from them?

Amazing works, I love them! Excellent.

Good question Dan. But the fact is if he’s selling himself as an Illustrator, these type of things are his inspiration… probably does character design for video games. Will check his site. Nice work.

It’s a category, can’t you open your mind to some other things rather than the inside of your ass? :)

Awesome work, love the Hayao Miyazaki inspired pieces, not so much the world of warcraft ones but hey, awesome none the less!

You may have just inspired him with that comment, not sure I’ll be checking out Dans work anytime soon.
