In 2010 a Duch design studio, HEYHEYHEY, created a Melvin the mini Machine. This machine is specially designed to travel the world. It can easily fit inside two briefcases and built on Rube Goldberg system. Check out the images below which tells the story of this machine. I think everyone who loves to travel would like to have it.

If you want to run a business you must have a brand name and identity. Your brand identity can be a symbol, picture or a plain text. Logos are most important part of you business so you must hire some professionals to get the job done. If your business name has a word “Cat”, designer can design a logo with Cat symbol but it’s not that simple.

The cat is a lively and cute animal, they easily become human companion and have a natural attractiveness. Cats are family member of lions, jaguar, tigers and cheetahs so to design a Cat logo designers can come up with some creative ideas, they can use some abstract symbol of Cat or emerge Cat from word “Cat” too. As you will see in some logos in the list.

The Ice Typography is a project of Nicole Dextras, it consists of three-dimensional words constructed in ice placed outdoors. According to the artist statement, “The use of text in the landscape relates to concrete and visual poetry but with the added twist of having the word’s meaning alter with the melting process.”

Apple’s ‘Think Different’ campaign was the most successful campaigns in the the history of advertising. Here i am showcasing the promotional posters from the campaign which were created in small numbers in 24 x 36 inch sizes. They highlighted the portrait of one historic and famous figure, with a small Apple logo and the words “Think Different” in one corner. These posters were released between 1997 and 1998.

Kate MccGwire lives and works in London. She has done MA Sculpture from Royal College of Art, here i am showcasing her project Brood. In which she has created beautiful white spiral of roughly 23,000 chicken wishbones.

MccGwire’s installation provides a wall of evenly aligned wishbones, each one symbolizing a dead soul. In the work’s statement, it says: “For ‘Brood’, MccGwire selected only the remains of battery-farmed chickens, the unnatural GM uniformity of the bones is shocking: transferring the ancient practices of witchcraft to a much more contemporary and scary one.”

Plastic Life is series of photographs contain hyper-realistic miniature characters at the height of 2 cm, mixed with everyday objects. Last month i created a post on book landscapes of Guy Laramée, which PelFusion readers liked a lot. Today i am also featuring an artist, Patty Grazini, who created sculptures using book papers. All these sculptures are 12-18 inches tall and extremely detailed.

This number of art is produced from the tales of real individuals who committed crimes, as reported in the New York Times, between 1885-1915.
