Facebook did a huge mess by reducing custom page size to 520px. Lots of big brands & businesses have removed their expensive pages which no longer fit in the tab. Some of them are probably unaware of the change, and their page looks cropped now. In other words we’ll soon see lots of fresh cool facebook pages designed in accordance to the new width requirement.

This showcase features 520px pages only. Not sure why did Facebook reduce the width that much, but 520px is still enough to create a good looking Facebook landing page. Some of these pages were designed thin long ago and were just waiting for a change, while some were updated just recently.

Despite these Facebook’s dirty tricks, people are still creating more and more pages. Custom facebook page is now an absolute must have for a business owner. In case you still don’t have one – a good place to start is premium facebook templates which are probably the cheapest way to launch a page.

Movie promotion budgets are really heavy. They can afford using any social media marketing trick to promote themselves. Thus some of the movie pages below are really stunning. Watch:

Interesting fact, but the majority of “musician facebook pages” belong to DJs. I’ve featured only some of their pages, but I can assure you that almost everyone in the Top 100 DJs list has his own custom facebook page.

Food & Drinks

This is an enormous market with enormous branding efforts. To build a strong brand you need to be literally everywhere. Even on Facebook. Especially on Facebook!

Facebook pages are all about impressive design and creativity. Having a business means people will do a search for you on Facebook one day. Don’t make them stare at your boring wall, impress them! To do this there are lots of wordpress plugins available giving readers the ability to bookmark your site to a number of social networking and bookmarking sites.

I tried to compile a list of more than 35 plugins that will let you make your WordPress blog more social. I suggest you do not install all of them just choose one which you like the most or think is the best.
